This past week I was fortunate enough to have a private tour of a wonderful wildlife sanctuary called Serenity Springs Wildlife Center. It is home to over 120 rescued animals including, tigers, bears, lions, panthers, leopards, and more. They provide these animals with a loving home and are dedicated to educating the public about these magnificent creatures. During my visit I had the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the animals and even feed a two-week old baby tiger! It was a dream come true!
Here are some more amazing creatures I encountered:
These are just a few of the amazing creatures at Serenity Springs!
There are very few facilities dedicated solely to providing a permanent sanctuary for displaced big cats. One reason is that the cost to properly run a facility of this nature is very high. Serenity Springs Wildlife Center’s operational costs are now over $19,000 a month. They operate on donations and could use your help to make a difference!

And don’t forget to visit!
Serenity Springs Wildlife Center is located approximately 22 miles east of Colorado Springs near Calhan.
